Big League Wrestling: Beach Brawl

Get ready for the hottest live Pro Wrestling show of the Summer.  
As Big League Wrestling presents BLW Beach Brawl. Featuring WWE Legend D’Lo Brown arguably the greatest WWE European Champion of all time and is also a former Intercontinental Champion.

Also confirmed, fresh off their highly successful Japanese Tour, the Tag Team HyperActive Anita Vaughan and Safire Reed.

Speaking of Tag Teams, the BLW Tag Team Championships will be on the line as The Blockbusters defend their titles against the Australian team The VeloCities.

BLW Champion Iestyn Rees will also be in action and the highly anticipated grudge match between Ruby Manitoba and Aluna, which has become extremely personal.

Summer Musical Theatre Workshop

This summer why not take part in a week-long series of workshops aimed at improving your musical theatre skills.

The workshops (9am-5pm daily) are being run by Enchanted Entertainment, producers of Weymouth Pavilion’s Christmas and Easter Pantomimes and will centre on singing, acting and dancing performance techniques as well as general stage craft.

At the end of the week, children put all their hard work into a performance on the Weymouth Pavilion stage in front of a live audience on Saturday 1st August!

The Summer School is about getting young people (aged 8-18) involved in performing, whatever their experience or ability. It is also a chance for them to spend time with others who love singing, dancing and acting.

Enchanted Entertainment will give children an energetic, fun-filled week, learning songs and routines from a variety of well-known West End and Broadway musicals and then performing in the show itself on the final Saturday.

A Foreigners Journey

Legendary bands Foreigner and Journey are giants of the AOR (Adult Orientated Rock) and Classic Rock genres, attracting huge audiences as live acts since forming in the 1970’s.

The two bands have achieved massive commercial and critical success and both sold in excess of 80 million albums, with their supreme musical quality ensuring that they’ve never been victims of trends or passing fashions, and even their earliest hits are still being played on radio shows worldwide every day.

Sadly for those in the UK, their shows over here have been few and far between, and most fans of their music have not experienced the thrill of hearing it played live.

Let’s Dance Presents Icons

Let’s Dance Performing Arts School now presents “ICONS” – featuring dance and song from various ‘icons’ including singers, composers and choreographers!

Students, from little ones right through to those from the many adult classes, will be taking to the stage for a lively evening providing what we hope will be something for everyone! Let’s Dance was founded 34 years ago and in addition to its two shows each year here at the Pavilion, performers from the school frequently participate in other events and shows both locally and further afield. An entertaining evening is ensured as they take you on the journey of ‘Icons’ – with some surprises!
