During the 60s and 70s No1 hits Sherry, December 1963 (Oh What a Night), Walk Like a Man, Rag Doll and Big Girls Don’t Cry helped propel the Four Seasons and Frankie Valli to super stardom.

After selling an incredible 100 million records worldwide, there’s a Four Seasons song that shares a special place in everyone’s heart. This internationally acclaimed show authentically revives the sublime harmonies of New Jersey’s finest. It showcases Frankie’s incredible falsetto, and features his solo hits like Grease, Let’s Hang On, Working My Way Back to You, Beggin’, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, and Who Loves You.

Rainer Hersch’s hilarious show, All Classical Music Explained – Live!, returns to UK theatres this autumn.

Rainer Hersch is half German, half English, which means he’d like to take over the world but he’s too polite…

His comedy show All Classical Music Explained has been broadcast by BBC Radio 4 in a 6-part series and sold out festivals across the world from Scotland to New Zealand. At its heart are those difficult questions: “why is organ music so boring?”; “what did Mozart steal from ABBA?” and “what do conductors actually do?” Whether you are a music professor or can’t tell string quartets from a string vest, relax: All Classical Music Explained will teach you nothing but it will make you laugh. Really laugh.

Rainer Hersch is a pianist, conductor and stand-up comedian who has appeared on every major comedy stage in Britain and abroad. In the UK he is known for his many radio appearances on ‘Loose Ends’, BBC Radio 4 documentaries and series about musical comedians of the past including All the Right Notes, Not Necessarily in the Right Order. As a conductor his credits include Friday Night is Music Night, and tours with orchestras from the Tasmanian Symphony to the St Petersburg Philharmonic.

The Dorset Guitar Show

Following a successful first event we are going bigger with year two…

…taking over the whole Weymouth Pavilion building, and packing it with Guitars and displays, with just under 1000 tickets we will be booking some big names to headline our main stage, running displays from a range of players and styles across two stages and multiple rooms, you are sure to learn and refine skills during your time with us.

Head upstairs to our workshop area to get hands on with learning, Workshops can be booked on the day at our reception area, spaces are limited so get in early and book fast on the day, £5 per workshop.

Down in the ocean room we will have a range of shops and displays, local tutors and meet and greet area, all included in your ticket price.

With two stage areas running all day, you are sure to have a great day packed with Guitars and meeting other Guitarists.
