Sustainability:
As a Community Interest Company, the management and entire team at Weymouth Pavilion operate our venue with a commitment to sustainability, and the local environment. Weymouth Beach strives to achieve the ‘Seaside Award’ and the ‘Blue Flag Award’ and as a business located right on the waterside here on the Jurassic Coast, we will endeavour to do all we can to reduce our environmental impact and our carbon footprint, as much as reasonably practical.
We will always strive to adapt and improve operations when needed to constantly demonstrate our commitment to long-term projects, in order to help us achieve this commitment.

Accessibility:
We strive to ensure that every guest visits our venue with ease and comfort, and do all we can to achieve this. We will always use valuable feedback from our customers in order to make positive changes to our operations. As a Community Interest Company, we will always investigate long-term opportunity and investment where reasonably practicable.
At Weymouth Pavilion:
· We collate all feedback from our customers and listen to any reoccurring issues proactively to address them.
· Specific customer feedback is shared amongst a South West user group of Theatres – dedicated to accessibility and inclusion. This group meets three times a year and is co-ordinated by the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil.
· When possible, we offer concessionary theatre tickets for Carers who are registered with us, and are accompanying an individual with extra needs to be able to visit.
· We have 6 empty spaces at the back of the Stalls in the main theatre dedicated to wheelchair users, with an accompanying seat for their carer.
· On the ground floor we have a fully accessible toilet, used in conjunction with a radar key.
· We have a customer wheelchair available to anyone who requires it during their visit.
· Disabled parking bays are available in the Council Car-Park opposite the Theatre main entrance, on a first come/first serve basis.
· When possible, we offer ‘quieter’ shows during the Christmas Panto season for anyone who benefits from gentle sound and lighting/effects during the performance, to allow for a calmer experience.
· We undertake staff training for our ‘accessibility champion’ to help us be proactive & identify any needs.
· Road access – customers can enter the small car-park to the front of the Theatre, and pull along the lowered curb side for level drop-offs at our main entrance, when safe and appropriate to do so. There is no ‘pull-in’ bay so please be aware of other road users.
· The entrance to the Theatre is by double automatic opening (outwards) doors
· The entrance to the Theatre is ‘step-less’ and one level, leading into the entire ground floor.
· The accessible toilet is located on the ground floor, next to the Male Toilet.
· Wheelchair accessible spaces are available on the back row of the theatre Stalls on a first come/first serve basis, and must be pre-booked at the Box Office. Carers are required to register with us and show proof of their carer status (Proof we accept is a DWP letter, headed ‘carers allowance’, a CEA card or any recognised carers card/scheme. Please note that we do not accept Blue Badge, PIP or any other forms of disability payments, as these do not prove that you would require a carer.
· Entrance to the auditorium via the Theatre Stalls door is via a long gentle inclined ramp and through double doors which are open and staffed.
· The main Bar area and general Ritz Café seating is located in the Lobby on the ground floor and is also step-less and provides flat access. Full access to hot food menu is available here
· The Piano Bar and restaurant is located on the first floor and is not accessible, due to no lift facility. For this reason, full food and drink menu can be served from the Bar downstairs to avoid disappointment. If you wish to pre-book a table for a ‘pre-show’ meal, please make the staff member aware that the reservation is for downstairs.
· Assistance dogs are allowed into the downstairs entrance lobby/Bar and café area – but not into the main auditorium.
