The beer theme this year will be ales from King Alfred’s Wessex 871AD and will be a celebration of the original Wessex region of Britain. Customers can expect over 60 cask ales from Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and Wiltshire complemented by a selection of traditional ciders of varying style.
CAMRA spokesperson Rich Gabe who orders the beer selection said “The Wessex region of Britain has some fantastic breweries all offering different styles and flavours. Weymouth Octoberfest is the perfect beer festival to showcase some of the best breweries in the region and the Pavilion is the perfect venue to hold the festival in”.
