Wes Anderson returns with The Phoenician Scheme, a stylish espionage comedy that delves into the complexities of family, legacy, and ambition. Set against the backdrop of 1940s Europe, the film follows Zsa-zsa Korda (Benicio del Toro), one of the continent's wealthiest industrialists, who, after surviving multiple assassination attempts, appoints his estranged daughter, Sister Liesl (Mia Threapleton), a nun, as the sole heir to his vast empire. As they embark on a grand infrastructure project spanning land and sea, they become entangled in a web of scheming tycoons, foreign terrorists, and determined assassins.
