Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance

Thursday 1st January 1970 - 12:00am

Adult: £13.00 Child: £7.50

Following on from the success of last year, we bring you the Fourth Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance to be held in the Weymouth Pavilion on this D-Day 75. The aim of the Festival is to remember all those who have lost their lives or fought in conflicts, through an evening of entertainment and reflection.

This year we are excited to welcome the HMS Heron Royal Navy Band and also Dorset For Singing, Let's Dance, Weymouth School Choirs, the Decadettes, Weymouth School of Ballet and Weymouth Sea and Air Cadets to entertain you. With reflections from local people who remembered D-Day aswell as the Act of Remembrance and the Poppy Drop it is truly a night for all the family whilst raising money for this great cause.

Your support is appreciated and essential to allow our work to continue and enforce the true meaning of Remembrance: 'To the memory of the fallen and the future of the living'

'Remember together'
