We were delighted with the way The Pavilion ensured that our event was a success.  Nothing was too much trouble both in the build up to the day, or on the day itself. Staff were friendly and helpful and played their part in ensuring that everything went well.  Once again The Pavilion has come up trumps and provided a welcoming, hospitable venue for an event.

All we had to do is say what we wanted the staff at the Pavilion did the rest, from layouts to lights and music. Those guys can do anything from mixing colours to get your colour to playing all your music at the perfect time. Tasha was our organiser who was on top form and made everything happen when it should, from guests being in the right place to cutting of the cake and first dance. We would very highly recommend Weymouth Pavilion as a place to hold your special day/event.

Thank you so much! We all had an amazing day, everyone's said it was the best wedding they've ever been to! Thank you so much for everything and also with the funfair - it was a lovely surprise and really made the day! More than 1,000 people attended a Brexit event at the Pavilion during the EU referendum, where I was one of the speakers. All three of my colleagues – Kate Hoey MP, Nigel Farage and Tim Martin – all told me they thought it was the best rally they had attended. It was superbly hosted by Phil Say and his team, who attended to our every need, while ensuring that all their customers were comfortable, able to see and hear the event and who all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The show was run efficiently and professionally, with the administration carefully and diligently thought and worked through to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night. It did, and I pay tribute to Phil and all this staff and would recommend the use of the Pavilion to anyone else looking for a venue and a successful event.

The Ocean Room looked very good and quite a number of people commented on it.  I especially liked the lights. The sun shone and the view of the Bay out of the windows was resplendent. The food was superb and very much enjoyed. A special thanks to Paul and those behind the scenes.

  • Rotary District 1100 Conference 2016

We got home around an hour and a half ago without incident but before I did anything else I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks on behalf of Rotary District 1100 to you and the whole team at The Weymouth Pavilion for enabling us to have such an excellent Conference. As you know, this was the first time that we have held our Conference in Weymouth but I am sure it will not be the last. From the minute we first approached you with our plans, through the months leading up to the weekend and, of course, over the weekend itself, everyone at The Pavilion was committed to ensuring that our event ran smoothly. 

It is very difficult for me to pick out individuals from the team as everyone there went above and beyond to ensure that our requirements were met. I must, however, mention specifically Dave and Tim on the technical side who did an absolutely fantastic job for us both in the theatre and in the Ocean Room and yourself for ensuring that everything else happened according to plan. Tash and Sam also deserve mention for their hard work particularly at the evening events. 

Our delegates have had an extremely enjoyable weekend and I am already receiving compliments from some of those who attended and have now got back home. The venue is a real asset to the town and the area and it is so refreshing to see an organisation like yourselves come in and make it such a success. You even arranged for the weather to be perfect so that all our attendees could make the most of the whole area throughout the weekend. I wish you well for the future and look forward to the next time" - Steve Parsons (Chairman)

Very many thanks for all your help, support and friendship before and during the Rotary Conference. I thought the event went very well and I think was enjoyed by most if not all of the delegates. I felt there was a very good atmosphere and that was helped in no small part by the dedicated, efficient and friendly Pavilion staff who did an excellent job. The people who helped me with moving the furniture in setting up the Market Place were much appreciated, they did a good job. I was also impressed by the waiters and waitresses at the Saturday evening dinner, who had to serve so many and often having to manoeuvre around guests who were standing in their way. They did it with patience and a smile (I'm not sure if I could have done). I enjoyed the event very much and was quite sorry when it was over. Weymouth (and their dancing Mayor), you and the Pavilion staff did us proud. Many thanks Julie for all your hard work to ensure it was a success, you have a good team behind you. It was a pleasure to work with you and your staff, and thanks for making sure the Weymouth weather was so good - how did you manage that? - Peter
