Our most recent pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk has broken all Box Office records to become Weymouth's best selling panto ever!

More than 16,500 people came to the Pavilion over Christmas to see the latest production written, directed by, and starring Lee Redwood. Sales increased by over 1000 on last year’s production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which itself broke records set by our previous 2014/15 pantomime Aladdin.

This year’s pantomime saw the return of some much-loved faces to our stage including the hilarious Gwynfryn West as Simple Simon, who won the town’s hearts as Muddles last year, and Chris Carr as our hero Jack, who some may remember as playing one of the wicked ugly sisters in our very first panto Cinderella back in 2013.

We also saw many firsts this year. On 14th December we held Weymouth’s very first Relaxed Performance, aiming to make the theatre experience more accessible to everyone with a specially adapted performance for people on the autistic spectrum and with other disabilities. We also introduced our incredibly successful Muck Up Matinee which saw the cast and crew come back together on the 2nd January for a very special performance of pranks and mayhem. People absolutely loved it and the performance SOLD OUT for the very first time in Weymouth panto history.

This bumper panto season may be over but we’re delighted to announce that our 2017 Christmas pantomime will be SLEEPING BEAUTY. Written and Directed by Lee Redwood and running from 9th - 31st December, tickets will go on sale soon. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for more details.

Can’t wait until then for your next panto fix? Tickets are already on sale for our swashbuckling summer pantomime PIRATES OF THE PAVILION which returns in July and August this year and is brought to you by the same team behind Jack and the Beanstalk. We are also holding a special Relaxed Performance of Pirates of the Pavilion on Tuesday 1st August at 1pm, click here for more information or call the Box Office on 01305 783225.

Tickets are also on sale for our Easter panto ROBIN HOOD on Friday 14th April, starring Dani Harmer, George Sampson and Andy Abraham.
